Maisie May Bridal Terms & Conditions

 

  1. Stock items must be paid for in full and taken on purchase date unless otherwise agreed. 

  2. Monies are not refundable or transferable to other orders.  Once goods are ordered you have no rights to cancel if you simply change your mind (Sale of Goods Act 1979).

  3. On ordering, a minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on all goods. Unless a rush order or special offer price in which case full payment is required.

  4. All shop samples and stock items are sold as seen and are non-refundable.

  5. Goods ordered that are not available from stock normally take up to 36 weeks for delivery however delays can occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

  6. Goods must be collected as soon as they arrive at the store unless it is near to the first fitting date.  We are unable to hold dresses here.

  7. Where only a deposit has been paid, the full balance must be paid as soon as the goods are ready and items collected as soon as they arrive at the store.

  8. Gowns are purchased on size only, based on the largest of bust, waist or hip measurements and agreed with the clients.

  9. Gowns requiring extra length or special measures are subject to a surcharge, carried forward to the customer from the manufacturer, which is not always known until the gown arrives in stock.  It will then be added to the cost of the goods.

  10. Alterations are not included in the price of dresses purchased.  All Brides are welcome to use their own seamstress or alternatively they can choose to use one of the independent seamstresses that we work with.  No alterations can be carried out until garments are paid for in full.  Alteration costs are available on request and are estimated only.  Actual costs will be confirmed on fitting with the seamstress.  Please note that Maisie May Bridal cannot be held responsible for any issues with fittings.

  11. During fittings, shoes and underwear must be those intended for the wedding day.  We will recommend the amount of alterations to gowns however, if the client insists on a fit tighter than recommended, we will not be responsible.

  12. We accept no responsibility for gowns not fitting when collected due to increase or decrease in weight or any other reasons beyond our control.

  13. Exact colours and shades on fabrics and designs on trim, including lace, cannot always be guaranteed.

  14. In the event of a wedding being cancelled for any reason whatsoever, the balance becomes payable immediately and the goods must be collected.

  15. Nothing in the above shall affect your statutory rights.

  16. All Goods remain the property of Maisie May Bridal until paid for in full.
